E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} ) FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ) (At Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence.) C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} RG.{Mr Rowledge} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X5120. R1/M26.2.32. Sent from WW. 29.2.32. X. 7120 X. 5120 re. CONTINENTAL PHANTOM, AND 25HP. Referring to the above, should not the same treatment exactly be given a trial on Phantom as you have done to J.1. where you shew 4 times nominal = 100 HP. at 3000 revs., still rising 110 HP. at 3500 revs., with two RR carburetters? The wonderful B.M.E.P. at 1500 revs. is so extremely useful, permitting a slightly higher top gear if desired. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
