Kindly note, in accordance with Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}'s verbal advice, we are ordering the necessary 50 sets of Radiator Matrix for 'M2' Series similar to 'L2' Series, i.e., Mark III Type to blueprint E.59596, to be built with cast side plates instead of the suggested pressed side plates, although this means a loss of approximately £1. per car. We understand the experimental matrix built up with pressed side plates has not yet completed the 10,000 mile test. Would it not be possible to speed up this test please, and so save the £1. per car in question if test proved satisfactory ? Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} [signature] | ||
