Herewith as requested a list of jobs that had to receive attention from the fitters after the car had been handed over to us for test at 8.0 a.m. Tuesday morning last. (1) No governor unit fitted. (2) No radiator cap fitted. (3) No clips fitted to oil pipe on dash. (4) No " " " Thermometer pipe on dash. (5) No " " " Bijur and Jack pipes on dash. (6) Jack pipe not clipped to front cross member. (7) No provision for clutch pit breathing on inspection cover. (8) Wrong carburetter fitted - had to be changed. (9) Controls not set correctly. (10) Brake rods fouling in holes through cruciform (11) Brake rod from servo fouling top of " (12) Incorrect clutch operating levers fitted. (13) No tubular vertical stay fitted to exhaust front expansion box. (14) Battery box not "treated". (15) Jubilee clips on top water pipe fitted wrong way round - too close to fan blades. (16) Correct size Jubilee clips required for front expansion box - present ones are made up. (17) Query large clearances in brake pins. | ||
