43806 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}8/KW. 26th March, 1935. Messrs. Luvax Ltd., Warple Way, Acton, London, W.3. Dear Sirs, LUVAX BIJUR PUMPS. We thank you for your letter PD/EM. 22.3.35, and note your remarks therein. However, in order to keep production going we have drilled air vents through all filler cap rivets in the Works, and since doing so we have not had a complaint of leakage up the centre spindle. Will you please see that future supplies have these air vents in the filler caps. Meanwhile we await your report on the two pumps returned to you. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
