Dear Mr Follett,

Many thanks for your letter of the 21st inst., (JWF/WMC) regarding Bent toughened glass.

I was glad to hear that you have long since passed the experimental stage, and that you are successfully producing this glass to quite a high degree of accuracy.

We are thinking of supplies in quantities. I take it that the price of 15/- per glass 30" x 12" would be for a small quantity. We had in mind minimum quantities of 5000, which should enable you to make a considerable reduction.

If you should be in this district shortly, I should very much like to see you, and talk the matter over.

We shall probably be wanting a sample for use in an experimental body, which I take it you would be prepared to supply.

I am wondering if you have anything going through on production lines having the approximate curve we require. If you have, will you please let me know the shape and size, as, at the moment, this is one of the points that is not fixed in the body we are designing, and we may therefore be able to utilise something which you are already making. We are, however, nearing the stage when we will have to decide something, so that if you can let me know quickly, I shall be obliged.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
