SFT{Mr Swift}'s reply SFT{Mr Swift}7/EMM/29.12.25. and MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}'s reply Mc/McM1/MC19.12.25. We attach herewith copy of further memo we have now received from Sales on this matter, and shall be glad to have your comments as soon as possible, so that we can send a satisfactory reply to Sales. The position as we now understand it from the information we have so far received is that the D.O. state that providing the parts in question are fitted up to drawing no trouble can occur. SFT.{Mr Swift} reports that all the parts have been fitted up to drawing and are O.K. and MX.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} reports that failures are not likely to occur if the fibre washers are in position.
