Dear Mr. Hives:

I write to express my thanks for the very kind hospitality which you extended upon Friday last to my cousin, Wing-Commander W.F. Caster, and also for the action which was taken concerning the car. Caster thoroughly enjoyed his day.

I understand from him that there are one or two modifications now out and that you would be good enough to have these fitted to my car when I can spare it for two or three days. Accordingly I will in due course arrange with your Repair Department to send the car in for this purpose.
