Dear Sir,
We understand that you have recently purchased the Rolls-Royce Car which was the property of the late Sir Henry Segrave and subsequently of Lady Segrave.
We had intended at some time convenient to fit a small modification to the radiator support of that car which modification was intended for Sir Henry Segrave. Although the car has changed hands we should still like to be allowed to add this modification, which is quite a small fitting.
It occurs to us,therefore, that you might care to pay a visit to our Works at Derby one day and whilst you are being shown round the Factory - which we should like you to see and which, as an owner, you would doubtless be interested in seeing- this small bracket could be fitted to your car, so that there would be no delay in dealing with the matter. Could you kindly let us know if you would like to do this and what day would be convenient to you. We would then notify our Works accordingly.
Yours faithfully,
for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
Sales Manager.
