3rd. September 1928.

Dear Sirs,

Special Petrol Filters.

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your kind letter of the 31st ultimo and regarding the duralumin bowl, we think there should be no difficulty in producing this either as a drawn shell or a hot pressing.

We are going carefully into the matter and will send you a sample shortly.

It occurs to us that a drawn shell may tend to crush where the thrust screw holds it up to the body and we propose to carry out our first experiment as a cup turned from the solid bar, which would represent a hot pressing.

Yours faithfully,

BENTON & STONE LTD.,

Director.
