V5840a To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M20.3.26. 10-G-111 - 20 HP. CHASSIS R fR 10,000 MILES. X.5640a. X.5430 Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LH{Mr Haworth}17.3.26., item 4, we do not understand how this lever limits the R.H. lock to 33° instead of 36°. We made a layout of this lever - N.sch.2086. shewing that a 9" lever was required to get 36° R.H. lock and N.sch.2087 shews a 9" lever. We know that we do not always get the locks we anticipate on the layouts, and if this is the cause of the trouble it is understandable, but your reference to 36° makes us think that what is actually causing you the trouble is the outside steering box, and not the lever on the axle.
