The S.U. Co.Ltd.,
Boresley Green Road
Adderley Park,
BIRMINGHAM.

For the attention of Mr. Leslie Kent.

Dear Sirs,

Following our telephone conversation yesterday the resistance of the coil in the petrol pump you mentioned is 4 ohms which gives a current of 3 amps. at 12 volts on a closed circuit.

We hope to obtain further information of the current and voltage variations by means of a cathode ray oscillograph both with and without the quenching resistance and will pass this on to you.

Will you please ask Mr. Harris to urge the delivery of the Cast iron High Pressure Pumps which we have on order, these are urgently required.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
