H.P. Petrol Pumps.

In order that the stock of High Pressure petrol pumps shall be interchangeable on Phantom III and Wraith, we suggest that all Phantom III High Pressure pumps which are returned for repair or any other reason should have the vent hole in the units altered to coincide with the new position of the vent hole on the Wraith pumps. The existing hole being plugged up.

There is no danger when a Wraith pump is fitted to a Phantom but if a Phantom III (original H.P. type) pump is fitted to a Wraith the water excluding sleeve blocks the hole and leaves no vent behind the diaphragm. We suggest this is done before the pump is returned to the makers so that any incidental damage caused by drilling can be rectified.
