Referring to G2/24/P/27.9.34 I had an interview to-day with Mr.Hall and the agreement I made with him in regard to charges was that he would pay half the amount given on your invoice which will amount to approximately £171. I suggest that you should render an invoice as per that attached to your memo., making it clear that it is nett costs for labour and material without establishment charges or profit, and then indicate: To half amount as agreed ------------- I think there is little doubt that he would have been quite agreeable to pay more but, in view of the valuable advertisement which we have had out of this Ulster T.T. and the knowledge and experience gained, I felt that we ought to go a long way towards meeting him.
