HELICAL SECOND GEAR - ALL CARS. X5810.

We are sending you the arrangement drawings of how we have introduced a silent 2nd. gear into the standard gearbox; the modified reverse, that does not interfere with 1st. gear, also being incorporated.

We have not yet decided on the exact shape of the engaging dogs as these have to be arranged to give a certain engagement from rest and at the same time not to jump out under load. The splines of this sliding piece may also be altered.
