Captain S.B. Wilks,
Managing Director,
The Rover Co. Ltd.,
Coventry, Eng.

Dear Captain Wilks,

Replying to your letter of April 17th, we have been using the Bijur chassis lubrication for about 5 years; on the whole it is exceedingly satisfactory.

There are a number of problems connected with it but Mr. Pitt of the Luvax Company can discuss these with you verbally far better than I can put them on paper.

When I was in America last month discussing the system with them brought up the point that the American expects his car to be so automatic that he will not bother to press the Bijur pedal, for this reason they are going to the automatic system operated by the induction pipe depression. Our own opinion is that the pedal operation is better if you can get people to use it conscientiously.

Do not copy the Rolls-Royce connections; we think the Luvax are as good and are much less expensive. We are using these on the Bentley.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
