The above has been the subject of discussion at Various Chassis Conferences and it will be recalled that arrangements were at one time made to introduce this alteration on the 1st. Chassis in 'D' Series. This was rescinded for various reasons with the result that all materials for 'D' Series were placed on order. The result being that we are committed to 200 sets of the existing design on 'D' Series. Therefore if a decision is made to introduce the Wraith movement and parts in connection with same on Production the Company will be involved in a considerable amount of Scrap. Will Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} issue a Standardisation Sheet with a view to introducing these alterations on the 1st. Chassis in 'E' Series, which taking into account the amended Production Output programme will not be sent to Test until September 1938. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} | ||
