1339? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 5th October, 1937. R.M. Papelian, Esq., Edgware Road, Cricklewood, N.W.2. Dear Sir, Thank you for your letter of the 1st October. We are carrying on with our tests on General Dual-10 tyres. We find that their Corner-Ability is not as good as our standard tyres. Clearly we do not expect to get complete silence without some disadvantages. We are, therefore, weighing up the pros and cons on these tyres, and continuing our tests. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
