For the attention of Mr. Hives

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 24th inst., and are much obliged to you for kindly testing and reporting on our new Model SM plug. The sample plugs have not yet arrived, but we shall be interested to see their condition, and we thank you for the full report.

With reference to the special KR3 plugs with copper pins (which we are calling Model KR4), we are proceeding with these as quickly as possible, and we hope that we shall certainly be able to despatch them to you before Wednesday, July 3rd. We shall get them off to you at the earliest possible moment, as we should certainly like them to be used on the 100 hour endurance test.

Yours faithfully,
THE LODGE SPARKING PLUG CO. LTD.
