Dear Sirs,

For the attention of L.E. Masheter, Esq..

We thank you for your letter of the 5th.inst., and for the rubber blocks which are now to hand. We are testing these right away and will let you have some further information on them in due course.

We are at present using our standard 40/50 rubbers in this engine foot and they appear to be giving reasonably good results.

We note your observations re. the rubbers we sent you and are glad to hear that you believe you can give us better results.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
