FORT DUNLOP ERDINGTON BIRMINGHAM 7. 3. 30. W.A.Robotham Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., D E R B Y. Dear Sir, I understand that the outstanding two dozen blocks to your order No. 99198 are being sent off today, the harder type being our No.9 and the softer No.10. The softer blocks are stencilled with a square on the side for distinguishing purposes. It appears that both these types give a slightly higher rating than was called for in your letter HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/MJ of the 15th February, but in view of your remarks as to the urgency of the matter we have considered it best to send them to you, trusting that you will find them satisfactory for your test. If there is anything further that we can do in this matter we shall be glad to assist you in any way that we can. Yours faithfully, FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO.
