Dear Sirs,
Watford Aero Magnetos type I.S.12.
We thank you for your letter of the 1st inst., and beg to say that Mr. North has not seen Colonel Fell but he has discussed with Dr. Bairsto the question of your returning the magnetos for modification without however being able to obtain any definite decision.
We shall within the next few days be submitting to Dr. Bairsto drawings incorporating the various modifications which we propose to make in the 12 cylinder magnetos and we think that the best course will be for us to make up new magnetos as soon as the drawings are approved and when we have sent these machines to you there should be no difficulty in obtaining the sanction of the Air Ministry for the machines you have to be returned for modification.
Yours faithfully,
R B North
