For the attention of Mr. Fraser.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for the opportunity you gave us of trying the Girling Brake, and also for your letter of the 30th ult. We appreciate the advance you have made in mechanical brake layouts.

At the moment, however, owing to the urgency of other work and the satisfaction given by our present servo brake system, we do not think we can consider fitting up a chassis with the Girling Brake. We will, however, keep it in mind for such time as we alter our present system.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
