H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} West, Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Mr. West,

Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} R.{Sir Henry Royce} Hall's Bentley.

I duly received your letter of the 9th inst. and would report that these instruments arrived yesterday.

The Rev-Clock has been carefully tested and found in perfect order, except that I feel we should keep this until Monday, in order to give the clock thorough regulation.

The Speedometer has been tested and adjusted to 724 revs. Otherwise it was found in perfect order. This instrument is being returned to you to-night.

Do you mind if I keep the Rev-Clock until Monday? If I do not hear further from you, I shall assume that you agree to this. We ought really always to keep any clocks for at least eight days here, to give a check-over to the time-keeping, regulation, etc.

Always at your service,

Yours faithfully,
For THE A.T. SPEEDOMETER CO. LTD.

H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} R.{Sir Henry Royce} Buckland
Director.
