PHANTOM II. ------------------------- We note from your C9/C.16.8.35., that Colonel Bristow has telegraphed us that our No. HXB-24 also suffers from this trouble. As you say, this is probably the Registration number. We have instructed our man Hopkinson to get into touch with the Owner of this car as soon as possible. We have this morning received a memo from Rob. in Holland, stating that Mr. Sandburg, who is the owner of 70-PX now touring in Germany, also complains that second gear jumps out. We are sending Rob. one of the stronger springs for the selector mechanism. This makes a total of seven cars now suffering from this complaint. HA/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister} | ||
