X1263 Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} (FOR DEPOT SHEET) Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems}2/MA.14.8.36. To insure that no S.U. Petrol Pumps are fitted to cars in the Depots in which there are obsolete diaphragms. The S.U. Company inform us that all pumps which have been reissued by them after repair bear the letters R.B. preceding the number stamped on the base of the pump centre casting. The letters G.M. stamped on the side of the pump body imply that the pump was made after this modification (the letters R.B. are also stamped on the base). Thus any pump not bearing the letters R.B. should on no account be fitted but returned to the S.U.Company. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems} | ||
