Dear Sir,
I am requested to convey to you and your family this Council's deepest sympathy in the irreparable loss you have sustained by the death of your talented son, and also to inform you that it is the unanimous wish of the Council that the interment in the churchyard shall be free of fees.
There will of course be the usual charges for the grave-digger's work.
