It is not possible with the N.B. machine for the commutator solder to run in normal circumstances, as it is (just only) in the case of the present machine.

X8672 The further question of the 28 slot armature for this machine is experimentally in hand, but it is possible, we do not say probable, that it will not be needed.

X8672. We would like to have three of the proposed dozen experimental production machines temporarily for comparative test with those upon which we have made the experiments. EFC.

X.5661. In regard to your last para. but one, concerning the 28 slot armature for the 20 HP. dynamo, the improved quietness of this armature has been very carefully and consistently proved by this Dept. We do not circulate standardisation sheets until we have ample evidence to justify this.
