X.2565 - RE PARTS STILL HELD UP FOR SERIES L. & M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} In view of the fact that the censorship for modification to design is coming on rather earlier than was anticipated, it seems to me that we shall have to at once make up our minds to carry on with the present standard designs for the following parts, that is, chassis 501 to 100. X.3014. Dynamo - Section 7310.M There does not appear to be much chance of making a definite move on the dynamo question so far as I can see at the moment, while it does appear that unless we place an order with Messrs. Lucas to carry on with the present scheme we shall certainly be in- to difficulties. Dynamo Suspension - Section 7320. This will be cleared up satisfactorily if the dynamo is dealt with. Wiring & Junction Box. - Section 7360. This section is one which will require a very serious test, as we are modifying the three following items:- X.3618 (a) Switches. X.3694 (b) Junction Box. X.3659 (c) Position of Electrical Cut-in. } Mr. Royce new design is referred to here (d) The type of cable. X.3456. Radiator - Section 7250. This again appears to me to be a serious item which will demand very considerable experimental work and therefore is one that we cannot afford to wait for. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
