C O P Y Ref: H24/H22936 28th September 1936. Messrs. Bentley Motors Ltd. 16 Conduit St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} W.1. Dear Sirs, Car No. B.102-GA I thank you for your letter of the 22nd instant under the above references, and I have also heard from Mr. Robotham of Derby in reply to a letter I sent to Mr. Hives, in which he states that Kingsbury Depot should be able to deal with the points. He makes no specific reference to the detonation which occurs at about 2500 revs. and I am not aware whether Derby are prepared to give Kingsbury Depot the necessary authority to carry out the details to correct the various points. If Kingsbury Depot have the necessary authority, I shall be very pleased to deal with them and so avoid the loss of time in taking the car up North. Incidentally, I shall be glad to know whether alternative transport could be provided whilst the faults are being put right. Yours faithfully, (Signed) A.FRAZER NASH AG/MH{M. Huckerby} | ||
