PURPOSE of Alteration: Note: This change was suggested by Mr.Haldenby during his visit last year. It was made on 6 cars, all of which are in satisfactory operation. The first of these to be examined 69 JH has run 12,500 miles. Everything was in excellent condition and spigot well lubricated with a small amount of engine oil all up bore of crankshaft extension. We propose to put this alteration into regular manufacture on December 15, 1924 unless we hear from Mr. Johnson and Mr. Royce to the contrary. Tested: As stated Estimated cost: 15¢ per car.
