To. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} 600a CHATEAUROUX. 2/.II.2.38. 26.G.VI. - 25/30 HP. Delco-Remy Distributor. We have just experienced a complete failure of the engine due to the pin sheering which holds the driving dog in the bottom end of the distributor spindle. The cause appears to be that something has come adrift in the automatic advance governor. We have not however dismantled the distributor head, but are returning it exactly as removed for your examination. The spare distributor sent out with the car has been fitted.
