Steering Experiments on 21-G-IV.

As the steering experiments on the above car can now be carried out at the Works instead of in France, the job is simplified as it will not be necessary to prepare all arrangements of the gear in advance. It also enables us to decide in what order to make the tests as they proceed.

The car is at present in the shop. Will you please build up the gear as specified under Gear No.1 (a) in our memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}2/KW.8.9.35. Whether you use the steering box at present on the car or one of those instructed in the above memo. is immaterial to us.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.J.Hardy.
