Leakage Tests of Coil-Cases.
Six coil-cases moulded in Redmanol were received from Messrs Brook for testing together with a similar one of our own and a standard stabilite case.
The object of the test was to find the electrical leakage through the material at various temperatures.
A 2500 volt (RMS) tapping from the high-tension transformer was taken through a thermionic valve, (used as a two-electrode rectifying valve, with grid and anode connected together) and a d.c. box instrument, to a tin-foil
