TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} O.c. to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} 20HP. CAR FOR WW. K5770 X5830 ORIGINAL R3/M13.5.27. We must have a 20HP. car herefor reference, and it must be a light one - not heavy, or top-heavy. I prefer it with an enclosed body, but if this is not possible, an open one. A double cabriolet type should be in hand, 4 seater, small and light, leather or fabric roof, and upper part of sides, no window between driving and rear seats, roof can be fixed. We look upon the 20HP. principally as an owner driver car. It should be a four seater, but if we have a light coupe for three in the front seat it would serve the purpose here for the time being.
