The attached blueprint illustrates graphically the progress of all the Experimental Cars, which we have produced since September 1937, when we ordered the first Bentley 5. Since August last it will be noted that the number of bodies in hand at any particular time has increased, and that the period of production has diminished. Whilst 7.B.5. had a reasonable weight, the bodies produced between Jan.1937 and Aug.1937 were distinctly heavy. Since Aug.1937 the weights have gone back as far as we know.
