To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. Copy to.... By BJ12/H21.10.25. Y3898 LUBRICATION OF CHASSIS. The following is a copy of Cxl/CM20.10.25:- "I am told that the type of oil gun which clips on to the lubricators without screwing and forces the oil through without turning a handle, as we do with the Enots, is quicker and more effective. The one given, of this type, is the Wakefield Ram Grease Gun, but there are others of similar type on the market as well. Possibly you may like to ask the Works whether we are thoroughly up-to-date in this respect." Can you please let me know whether this form of lubrication is being considered. We are of course aware that the matter of some central form of lubrication is being considered, but this may take years to develop. Meantime we want to consider any simpler form than is at present standard. B.J. | ||
