Separation - Wood and ebonite.

Overall Dimensions - 22 1/4" long x 7 3/8" wide x 9 5/16" high without cover, or 9 15/16" high with cover.

Weight - Without cover 88 lbs. dry or 100 lbs. with acid and charged. Weight of wood cover 3 1/2 lbs.

Thickness of positive plates - 1/8"
" negative " - 1/8" intermediate, 3/32" end.

Plate pitch - 1/2"

Capacity - 95 amp.hrs. at the 20-hour rate to 1.80 volts per cell.

New Battery type 6-XSL11-1L in Monobloc Container.
This battery would be mounted in a monoblock ebonite container with or without a moulded ebonite cover. In general the design follows the existing type 6-XSM7-1L battery, but with 1/8" thick positive and negative plates. We enclose herewith a copy of our drawing GA.57940 showing details of this battery, the technical data for which is given below:-

Battery Type 6-XSL11-1L.

Assembly - Monobloc ebonite container with or without moulded ebonite cover.

Intercell- Lead-coated copper bolted to terminal pillars. Connections

Separation - Wood and ebonite.

Overall Dimensions - 19 1/16" long x 6 3/4" wide x 10 3/16" high without cover, or 11" high with cover.

Weight - Without cover 83 lbs. dry or 94 lbs. with acid and charged. Weight of cover 3 lbs.

Thickness of positive plates - 1/8"
" negative " - 1/8" intermediate and end.

Plate pitch - 1/2"

Capacity - 90 amp.hrs. in 20 hrs. to 1.80 volts per cell.
