REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS - INCREASED FRICTION. Origin. To improve the riding of the car. Experimental Test Report. The shock absorbers at present are set to give friction in two stages - 25 lbs. and 50 lbs. The proposal is that they should be set at 50 lbs. single stage. Road Test Report. Fitted to two London Trial Cars and approved by PN.{Mr Northey} Fitted to 7-Goshawk-II and 3-Goshawk-II - run 1500 miles. We consider for average conditions it is an improvement. Signature of Exp.
