THROTTLE GOVERNOR. *************************************************** The Experimental Dept. have found that it is necessary for us to modify three pieces on the Throttle Governor. The parts in question are:- One Tension Spring. One Compression Spring. One Link made from twisted wire. The parts replace similar parts of different strengths or lengths. The cars which are being turned out are fitted with the correct springs which have been made by the Experimental Dept. The new material is on order, and being urged, so no time has been lost. We wish to have your consent officially to these parts being incorporated in place of the similar parts at present officially instructed. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} informs us it is necessary, Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} agrees. We have arranged with the Experimental Dept. to supply works' requirements.
