P.III. GEARBOX.

Seizure of Spigot bearing bush.

The rbonze bush between the 1st. and 3rd. motion shafts started life with a clearance inside and outside of .001" to .002"s.

We find after a French test that this clearance is at least .005" inside and out.

To reduce the chances of seizure we suggest that the drawing clearances are altered to .002 to .003.
