To use standard parts.

Thrust washer and centre bearing.

O/D of washer increased to 2.560 - 2.570
Thickness " " " .091 - .093

Counterbore deepened to suit.

Bearing length shortened to 1.215 - 1.225

Lug width reduced to 3/16" to leave 1/16" more bearing at end.

Housing altered to suit .072 wall.

Width of oil groove 5/32

Take limit off oil hole diameter.

Camshaft Bearings.

RE.1664/5/6

Housing shoen at 1.8125
should this be 1/2 tolerance.

Oil groove .045 deep and 3/16 wide.
Rectangular, can this be made 1/2 round.
As the bearing may collapse when pressed in, why complete
groove front and rear only.
