16.G.IV.

This car will be wanted at W.W. for R.{Sir Henry Royce} the first week in April. It is to be fitted with the new "P" type steering and pedals to N.Sch.3198/9/3120, as instructed in BY/HEB.{H. Biraben}9 13.2.31., will you please arrange to get the necessary parts in hand. we do not know of anything radically wrong with the car, but in view of the fact that it will be at W.W. throughout the summer, we think it should be examined and any worn parts replaced, this applies particularly to the engine unit and brakes. the springs and shock dampers are O.K. having only recently been fitted.

we are hoping to get the body taken off in the course of the next few days when the chassis will be at your disposal.
