We send herewith N.Sch.5175 showing the lower triangl/e levers of the Bentley III. front suspension - Packard type. The forward lever which carries the road spring is a drop forging in S/NCR. The inner bearing on the frame has an Inlox type of rubber bearing identical with that on the Packard, whilst the yoke piece lower bearing will be shown on a scheme for the latter. The radius arm or torque member is made of sheet steel S/DS. and built up by electric flash welding exactly copying the Packard construction. This scheme will enable you to make details and to approach the trade concerning the construction of the welded up radius arm. Att: N.Sch.5175. E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
