25/30.HP. STEERING ROLLERS.

During our visit to Messrs Ransome & Marles on Saturday last, in addition to the points on heat treatment which we have already discussed, they raised the point of the allowance for lapping on the end faces of the inner races. They wish to cancel their request for an allowance of 0.001 - 0.002" on both faces and to revert to the previous arrangement of the allowance on the abutment face only. Their wishes would therefore be met if you take no action on their letter of the 2nd. inst.
