My impression of this is that we have three joints, and it makes too many parts, and cost and weight. Most of our competitors would use one joint: we must not exceed two.

Could we extend engine arm to just clear the frame, and there make our compound rubber joint, trusting to the frame to carry the torsion to the cross member or dashboard.

Failing this being sufficiently perfect can we bring the engine arm to the unit that goes in the frame? This idea is perhaps like Phantom.
