Messrs. S. Smith & Sons (M.A.) Ltd.,
Cricklewood Works,
London, N.W.10.

For attention of Mr. C.W. Nichols.

Dear Sirs,

We have to-day wired you as follows :-

"STOP MECHANIC COMING DERBY LETTER FOLLOWING"

BOWERING, ROYCAR.

5-B-IV is at present in our fitting shop and it was originally intended to have the necessary work completed by to-night so that your mechanic could have the car to himself on Friday. However, further work has been issued for this car and we are afraid under the circumstances that it will not be ready until some time during the coming week.

We hope that this alteration has not seriously inconvenienced you. We will 'phone or write later the day we should like your man to be here.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
