This column is for Name of Person addressed. Mr Nadin Mr Wormald. DATE. 13/3/12. Re Cotton fabric cone clutches. TBB1/L13312. Mr Royce remarks in his note R5/D10312 that if the cotton fabric now being tested on our present type cone clutch is satisfactory and definitely superior to leather, then this should be made standard practice, and also should be fitted to any clutch which is unsatisfactory or requires repairing in chassis coming in to our Repair Shop. I suggest that it is advisable to obtain Mr Platford's report on this fabric before we proceed on the lines indicated, that is to say, that we do not move in the standardisation until Mr Platford returns and has had an opportunity of reporting definitely one way or the other. Will you kindly confirm this proposal. [Signature] This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
