Dear Sir,
Our run today has been from Bracknell to Budleigh Salterton, via Salisbury, Dorchester and Bridport, mileage recorded by speedometer being 166 miles.
Captain Aston and Mrs Aston have accompanied us, and Capt Aston has driven the car himself for approx 70 miles.
He was delighted with the performance of the car generally, and considered it a vast improvement on the present Phantom.
After riding in the back of the car for approx 30 miles, with PN{Mr Northey} driving, he was so impressed with the springing of the car, that he described it as positively uncanny.
The car has certainly run very well today and there is nothing to complain about. We are returning to Bracknell tomorrow.
Yours Lyman.
22-7-29.
