Costs and status of various experimental batteries.

ORIGINAL EFC2/T10.3.21. X.428 X.979 X.1198 X.3629 Further to our EFC3/T7.3.21, we have now obtained the costs of the various batteries as follows :- 1. Chloride 6 EXR5 battery with all the latest improvements three experimental samples of which we have recently received from the Chloride Co., sample cell of which is being sent to Mr. Royce Price for 100 batteries, delivered our works, £8-10-0 each. 2. Tudor batteries, two experimental samples of which we have recently received from the Tudor Company and sample cell of which is being sent to Mr. Royce Price £7-17-6 per battery. 3. De Martis accumulator, one experimental sample of which we have recently received and which is being put through our routine tests. Price £8-14-7, less 2%. 4. 6-LXR-9-1 U.S.A. Exide battery, one experimental sample of which we have recently received from America - Price not obtainable at the moment. 5. Willard S.J.R.27, one experimental sample of which we received some time ago from U.S.A., and of which one cell has failed by leakage of electrolyte. Price £6-12-8 per battery. EFC. | ||
