Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Derby C/Wmr/London C/CEB/London Re complaints of harshness of front springs of 40/50 H.P. front wheel brake models both Silver Ghost and New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I. - could not this be improved somewhat if torque due to brake re-action could be resisted by some other member than the springs themselves, thus allowing us to obtain lighter and more flexible springing. The harshness of our front wheel springing on these models is, of course, very much more marked on the bad roads here than can possibly be the case on the excellent roads you have at home. Pt. | ||
